Three members of the Fraser Valley Diving Club wasted little time in achieving their qualifying standards for the national championships this summer.
Joel Harrison, Kailee Lingham and Kim Lotnick reached the necessary mark at the season鈥檚 first qualifying meet, the Vaughan Baird Polar Bear Classic in Winnipeg.
Harrison won gold in the 11/12-year-old three-metre event, while Lotnick picked up a pair of silver medals in the one-metre (16/17-year-old) and one-metre open events.
Lingham earned two fifth-place finishes.
Other results included Kurt Breure (11/12-year-old) finishing fifth in his category and Danielle Westwick ((16/17) placing fifth, sixth, eighth and 11th, in her events.
