The end result was a 5-4 Blaze victory over the visiting Whalley Chiefs on Tuesday (April 18) at McLeod Athletic Park. 91原创 improved to 4-2 on the BC Premier Baseball League season.
The Blaze led 3-1 after one inning with Rhys Cratty belting a two-run double and then later scoring himself after stealing third and coming home on an error from the catcher.
The Chiefs struck back for three runs in the top of the second inning and led 4-3 until the bottom of the fifth inning when Cratty hit an RBI double to score Dawson Gray.
Michael Stovman earned the win for 91原创 with a complete game, allowing two earned runs and striking out six.
91原创 is back in action on April 20 when they host the Abbotsford Cardinals. Game time is 6 p.m. at McLeod Athletic Park.
