Colyn backstopped the Trinity Western Spartans to a and on Wednesday was named the U Sports male athlete of the week.
The rookie goalkeeper 鈥� who graduated from 91原创 Christian in June and then won the starting job with the Spartans men鈥檚 soccer team 鈥� has played every minute of his team鈥檚 10 Canada West games. The team is 5-2-3 and sits second in the Pacific Division.
He is tied for the conference lead with four shutouts, and is third in goals against average (0.76), save percentage (.851) and fifth in saves (40).
