The third time was the charm for the 91Ô´´ Chaos.

The bantam C girls fastball team, runners-up at their two previous tournaments, won gold at the 91Ô´´ Fastball championships last weekend.

Undefeated through the round robin, the Chaos led the Abbotsford Bandits 10-8 in the seventh inning of the final when Rachelle Folk turned a key double play to stop the Bandits rally.

The team plays in the provincial championships July 8-10 in Chilliwack.

The Chaos enter with a 38-4 record in league and tournament play, including gold medals at tournaments in Kelowna, Richmond and Fleetwood.
