The Brookswood Bobcats are returning to the provincial championships.The 鈥機ats, ranked second in the province, won their first two games convincingly at the Fraser Valley senior girls' AAA regional championships and are guaranteed to finish no worse than fourth in the Valley tournament.Brookswood, seeded second for the Valleys, hammered Delta 121-34 on Monday and followed that up with an 80-54 victory over the Yale Lions. Both games were played at Brookswood Secondary.The 鈥機ats face No. 3 Riverside in a semifinal on Friday night at Abbotsford's W.J. Mouat.The other semifinal its No. 1 Mouat against No. 4 Maple Ridge.The Walnut Grove Gators eked out a 42-38 elimination game against the Robert Bateman Timberwolves last week.And the Gators, seeded 16th, hung tough against top-ranked Mouat, before falling 66-41 on Monday. Walnut Grove's season came to an end on Tuesday when they lost 51-21 to the Gleneagle Talons.
