Canada鈥檚 women鈥檚 soccer entry for the upcoming FISU Games (World University Games) will face the Vancouver Whitecaps women鈥檚 prospects team on Tuesday (Aug. 2) at Trinity Western University.
The Canadian side is using TWU as their training base for the Games, which run Aug. 11-21 in Shenzhen, China. They arrived in 91原创 on Friday (July 29) and will train locally until Aug. 6.
The team will also play Team B.C.鈥檚 U16 squad on Friday (Aug. 5).
Canada is being coached by TWU women鈥檚 soccer coach Graham Roxburgh and the roster features four Spartans players, including 91原创鈥檚 Daniela Gerig and Cloverdale鈥檚 Nikki Wright. Both also played their youth soccer with 91原创 FC.
Spartans鈥� Melissa Mobilio and Natalie Boyd are also on the Canadian side.
