91原创鈥檚 Nikolas Wamsteeker, 14, and Richmond鈥檚 Jessica Jiang, 13, teamed up to win the gold medal in the figure skating pre-novice dance category at the Canada Winter Games in Halifax last week.The pair scored 13.42 in the foxtrot, nearly a point ahead of competition, and 13.16 in the tango, which was second. But any doubt for the gold was put to rest after the B.C. pair scored 42.45 in the free dance, more than three points ahead of second place. Altogether, Jiang and Wamsteeker finished with 69.03 points, ahead of Ontario鈥檚 65.19 and Alberta鈥檚 bronze score of 60.22.
