A pair of former Brookswood Bobcats teammates are hoping to re-unite and wear the red and white for Canada.
尝补苍驳濒别测鈥檚 and are among the 24 players invited to Canada Basketball鈥檚 U19 junior women鈥檚 national team invitational tryouts.

The tryouts are being held July 2 to 4 at Humber College in Toronto.
鈥淎fter a competitive evaluation process we have invited 24 athletes who hope to represent Canada in Italy at the FIBA U19 Women鈥檚 Basketball World Cup 2017,鈥 said Denise Dignard, Canada Basketball鈥檚 director of the women鈥檚 high performance program.
鈥淲e look forward to a competitive tryout as our program continues its international development.鈥
Both Forsyth and Konig have represented Canada at various age-groups in the past.
Forsyth helped Canada win gold in 2015 at the U16 FIBA Americas championships and then fifth last year at the U17 FIBA championships.
Konig was on the Canadian team which won silver at last summer鈥檚 .
Konig, who graduated from Brookswood in 2016, will be a sophomore for North Carolina State in the fall.
鈥淕etting invited is always an honour,鈥 Konig said last month, when speaking with the Times.
鈥淚t is an opportunity to represent and compete for my country at the highest level (and) I am looking forward to competing against some of the best talent Canada has to offer.鈥
Forsyth, who graduated this month from the school, will begin her freshman season with the Gonzaga Bulldogs in September.
Following training camp, the selected players will remain in Toronto for training camp from July 5 to 11 and the finalized team roster will head to France for an exhibition tournament against No. 3 ranked France, No. 7 ranked Australia and No. 9 China.
That tournament is set for July 15 to 17.
The team will then travel to Italy for the FIBA U19 women鈥檚 basketball World Cup 2017. Canada will look to build on their eighth-place finish in 2015.
