Blaze steal their way to win

Greg Rogers drove in three runs as the 91Ô­´´ Blaze dropped the North Shore Twins 7-1.

The teams met at McLeod Park on Thursday in U18 B.C. Premier Baseball League action.

The Blaze were in full control of the game, and a menace on the base paths, as the team swiped 11 bases.

Jerod Bartnik and Zach Mihic also had RBIs.

Karl Malacek allowed one run on seven hits, while striking out seven through six innings.

The Blaze are in Bellingham this weekend for a tournament and they return to league play on Tuesday (June 21) against the North Delta Blue Jays.

91Ô­´´ leads the PBL with a 26-8 record.
