North 91原创鈥檚 atom football squad continued their improvement in the first month of the season, but came up short, losing 12-0 to the Chilliwack Giants on Saturday in Valley Community Football League action.
Chris Morrison led the team in tackling while Elizabeth Hawkins came up with a fumble recovery.
Emerson Block also had some huge tackles for losses.
Marcus Stang and Teague Higgins led the team鈥檚 rushing attack.
The Bears nearly found the end zone when Nicholas Triemstra caught a pass from Jaxon Stebbings at midfield and ran 48 yards before being tackled at the two.
The peewee Bears lost 32-7 to the Abbotsford Falcons and North 91原创鈥檚 junior bantam team lost 38-0 to Chilliwack.
