Three outs away from advancing to the provincial championships, and the 91Ô­´´ Sr. Blaze let the game slip away.

Facing the Coquitlam Angels in the third and deciding game of the teams’ best-of-three Pacific Metro Baseball League series on Sunday at McLeod Park, 91Ô­´´ surrendered four runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to lose 6-5.

The teams traded victories on Saturday, with Coquitlam winning game one 3-2 and the Blaze responding with a 4-3 victory in the second game.

91Ô­´´ faces the B.C. Selects next weekend in Abbotsford in exhibition play as the Blaze gear up for the 31st annual Grand Forks International Tournament on the Labour Day weekend.
