Mark Faure drove in all three runs as the 91原创 Sr. Blaze rallied from an early 2-0 hole to win 3-2.
The Blaze were hosting the Coquitlam Angels on Tuesday night at McLeod Park in PIL action.
Faure hit a two-run double in the second inning, scoring Scott Webster and Tyler Willson, and then was at it again in the fourth, delivering Willson home with a single.
Trevor Lishanko earned the win on the mound, while Nathan Kirby earned the save after getting out of a bases loaded jam in the bottom of the seventh.
But 91原创鈥檚 bid for back-to-back wins fell short on Wednesday as they dropped a 3-2 decision in extra innings to the Burnaby Bulldogs.
The Blaze forced extra innings with a run in the bottom of the sixth inning and then took a 2-1 lead into the top of the eighth.But the Bulldogs struck for two runs, taking advantage of two walks and an error.
Faure and Clayton Howell had the 91原创 RBIs, while Jesse Peters was tagged with the loss. Peters went the distance, striking out eight.
