The Aldergrove Kodiaks gave the top team in the a good game at Aldergrove Arena Nov. 8, with a 2-3 loss to the Delta Ice Hawks.
The Kodiaks opened the scoring in the first period with Clayton Schreder putting the puck past Delta netminder Jordan Naylor at 6:36. Assists came from Ryleigh Anderson and Ty Pickering.
The Hawks evened it up in the second period on a power play goal.
The Hawks then pulled ahead with a pair of goals early in the third period, before Kodiak defenseman Evan Cusmano scored on a power play seconds later. His assists came from Davin Padgham and Kyle Bosko.
The Hawks outshot the Kodiaks 34-23 that night.
The result puts the Kodiaks at 17 points after 19 games this season (7-9-1-2).
Schroeder was the game鈥檚 third star.
