Kara Jansen Van Doorn was named a first-team all-star at the tournament, while Lauren O'Reilly was the tournament's top setter.
鈥� The Brookswood Bobcats junior girls' basketball team defeated the South Kamloops Titans 60-50 to capture the provincial championship. Jessie Brown earned most valuable player honours while Sydney Williams was chosen the top defender.
鈥� The Trinity Western Spartans men's basketball team had the program's best-ever finish, placing second at the CIS national championships. The Spartans were a wild-card entry to the tournament but lost to the Carleton Ravens, 82-59. The championship was Carleton's seventh in the past nine years. Jacob Doerksen was named a CIS first team all-Canadian.

鈥� The B.C. high school AAA senior boys' basketball championships were contested at the 91原创 Events Centre for the first time ever. Altogether, 13,604 fans took in the action at the LEC during the week-long basketball tournament. R.C. Palmer won the championship over Vancouver College.
