This is a true debate. On the one side, allowing a property owner the right to decide; on the other, consideration of the nearby community.
The possibility of a tree protection bylaw in 91原创 seems to have pushed some notable clear-cutting in anticipation of rules and deterrent fines for clearing.
I鈥檓 seeing piles of trees and land clearing recently, and its purpose is not clear.
Are we to see that much more development or crop plantings?
I was a proponent of a tree protection bylaw in Richmond, and saw a rush there to cut prior to its implementation.
Tree protection seems to promote tree cutting, in my experience. Sadly.
