Tourism is down, is HST to blame?

Editor:

The declining B.C. tourism numbers is like watching a train wreck in slow motion.

B.C. tourism, so far this year, is down five per cent from 2009 levels.

The Olympics quite simply did nothing for B.C. No long term upswing. The exact opposite.

The only thing that has increased by 10 per cent is the number of Canadians heading to foreign destinations.

I wonder? Could it be the HST??
