Thousands wasted on Green investigation

What isn’t so comforting is the approximately $60,000 to $70,000 spent in private on legal fees by the gang, as they did their questionable work. That was taxpayers’ money and I want it back, as I’m sure others do.

Editor: It is not at all surprising that Mayor Rick Green has been cleared of all the frivolous and vexatious charges brought against him by a dysfunctional majority of Township council — the infamous Gang of Six.

It is comforting to see the media were quick to print those facts, especially when they were so quick to pile on when the questionable accusations and kangaroo court investigation began.

What isn’t so comforting is the approximately $60,000 to $70,000 spent in private on legal fees by the gang, as they did their questionable work. That was taxpayers’ money and I want it back, as I’m sure others do.

They made no attempt to create the aura of fairness. Mayor  Green was not offered legal assistance — that was left to come out of his own pocket.

The whole psychology of this group, in this and many of their other affairs, betrays a malignant proprietary mentality over their view of their public office. They conduct themselves as if they own the Township. How dare we question their royal selves?

Not that I expect any show of appropriate contrition from these individuals, but an apology on the front page of your newspaper would be a good start.

Give back to taxpayers the thousands of dollars that you have wasted.
