Police owe Hamon family an apology

Editor: I was in the funeral procession for Harold Hamon on Sunday, and we finished with a fabulous celebration of his life in Fort 91原创.  The respect that everyone in the procession showed for Harold and his family was amazing.

The tow truck and hauler operators blocked some of the intersections so that we all could pass quickly and without incident.  They did a very good and professional job.

What baffles me is the lack of respect that the 91原创 RCMP showed to all involved. I was taught that you do not enter into a funeral procession out of respect, allowing the mourners to travel to the destination.

I even had an RCMP member jump out in front of my moving vehicle with his arms folded across his chest, to stop me from proceeding.

Harold was a business owner in 91原创 for many years, and showed everyone courtesy and respect, including the RCMP.  I think the RCMP owe the Hamon family an apology for the disrespect that they showed to everyone involved.
