Dear Editor,
Ode to my home town.
Well, our house is for sale. Moving out of this totally destroyed, once tranquil, community.
Our forefathers and pioneers must be saddened by this act of greed and corruption.
Destroy and never to regain the meadows and forests we hunted squirrels and rabbits when we kids.
Townhomes stacked row on row like mice in tiny boxes. We, humans, will pay the ultimate price for the world we created.
Retiring to the quiet village of Agassiz to spend the last chapter in my life. Will never return to this once beautiful small town, as the destruction is to great. Goodbye and farewell.
