LETTER: Senior safety story appreciated

I just read your article and it really hit home.

Both my parents are seniors and my mom is just recovering from her second knee replacement.

My dad is 84 and has been falling.

We have been trying to find someone to install bars in the shower, but haven't had any luck.

Dad recently fell and to catch himself grabbed the tap causing it to turn to hot water, fortunately he wasn't injured.

We're going to reach out to Mr. Thomas about having bars installed.
