Editor: Regarding the controversy over the 216 Street exit and the Brookswood-Fernridge development.

That’s the trouble with electing former policemen to local office, it’s the “their way or the highway” attitude that does little to foster good local government. Listening to reason and a flexibility in your own views are keys to success, not pretending to listen but having a pre-determined opinion beforehand, which appears to be the case in both these matters.
