Dear Editor,
The Township of 91原创 is going to borrow close to $150 million for four new proposals by way of AAP (Alternate Approval Process).
If you agree do nothing if you are opposed there are forms you need to sign. They go ahead unless 10,000 taxpayers sign the form to oppose and hand it into the Township office by end of March.
I asked why they don鈥檛 get sent out to taxpayers and was told they are not required to do that.
They are only required to post it in the local paper. Not everyone reads the paper, especially the younger generations.
The information for all four is included in the TOL website at tol.ca/aap.
If the mayor and council believe this is the right approach, they need to be more transparent. I don鈥檛 agree that putting the taxpayers in debt for almost $150 million serves us well.
