Dear Editor,
Climate change.
We, as consumers, do our best to mitigate the effects of climate change. We look at vehicles that leave less an imprint on our world. Electric or hybrid? (At the same time the world is racing into space using rocket fuel.)
We try to recycle plastics/paper/compostable materials in their appropriate receptacles. So much of the onus is on us as consumers.
Where do companies who manufacture these products come into the forefront of this problem? Why are plastic and paper combined in packages? Why and what glue is used so it is difficult to remove and differentiate the materials? When will manufacturing companies be held accountable for their follies?
When do we say enough is enough?
