Open letter to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau
Shopping malls have a need for parking but at same time the land is not being utilized to its full potential.
Housing can be built above the the parking spaces and there will be no need to lose parking areas with the correct design from engineers.
There are large tracts of these parking areas at shopping malls, and it just takes engineers to design the appropriate platform above the area, and this area could be used for modular homes or prefab homes that can be placed on top of this structure.
If you go look at large shopping malls and the area that is being used for parking, one鈥檚 imagination can visualize homes above this area.
Imagine how many homes could be placed in that area. Imagine how much rent geared to income housing could be created and housing for seniors that would be so close to the shopping area for their needs.
