LETTER: Area letter writer puts Trump government shutdown in perspective

A Maple Ridge letter writer is critical of Hillary Clinton鈥檚 comments about the shutdown.

Dear Editor:

Nowhere is it mentioned that former President Bill Clinton held the previous record for the length of a government shutdown.

President Trump is just one day past that record [as of Jan. 12].

Of course, Hillary Clinton waited just past that record to chime in.

Will she ever go away?
