Italian sign said it all

I just returned from a trip to Italy where the handicapped parking spaces have the following signs posted: 鈥� If you鈥檝e taken my parking spot please take my disability, too.鈥�

I read your article regarding those parking illegally in spaces designated handicapped (The Times, July 12).

I just returned from a trip to Italy where the handicapped parking spaces have the following signs posted: 鈥� If you鈥檝e taken my parking spot please take my disability, too.鈥�

I thought it was quite clever. It does make one think twice.
