Editor: Gordon Campbell for the Order of B C? Is this some kind of a joke? That honour should be reserved for people who are honest and trustworthy. Campbell, in my view, has shown himself to be neither.
I believe the people of B C said two things with the repeal of the HST:
One 鈥� We will no longer accept taxes upon taxes; and
Two 鈥� We will no longer accept the half-truths of politicians.
鈥淚 did not sell B.C Rail鈥� and 鈥淲e are not planning to introduce the HST鈥� are both excellent examples of half-truths, which were intended to deceive.
Such dishonesty should not be rewarded.
