Editor: This message is for a group of people who I have never met, and probably never will. On Monday evening (Aug. 15), sometime between 7 and 8 p.m., at the corner of 201A Street and 56 Avenue, my Dad fell and hit his head.
A group of total strangers rushed to his aid and tried to make him as comfortable as possible until paramedics arrived.
My father did not make it through the night, due to the severe head injury he received as a result of the fall. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to these strangers. They proved there are good people in the world, when lately we鈥檝e heard so much of the opposite. I will always be grateful to you.
