William (Bill) McLEAN

McLean: William (Bill) DeMuth. It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Bill McLean at his home in 91原创, BC, on Saturday, September 13, 2003. Bill was predeceased in 1997 by his wife of 43 years, Pat McLean, whom he loved dearly, and in 1996 by his sister, Bernice Scott. He is survived by his three children Kay Gray (Bruce Sinclair), Doug McLean (Patricia Kensington), and Lynn Kirkpatrick (Paul), sister-in-law Barbara Tartaglio (Doug) and Uncle Bob Williams. Bill will be missed by his grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and especially by his numerous close friends. Born and raised in Pentiction, Bill moved to Tsawwassen when he married and will be remembered as being active in the community in many ways. After 18 years as a navigator for Canadian Pacific Airlines, he took an early retirement in 1971, and worked the next 30 years operating an apartment building in Burnaby, always taking time to volunteer in the community. Bill's family invites all of his friends and acquaintances to remember him at a gathering to be held from 1pm to 4pm on Friday, September 19, 2003, at the Burnaby Mountain Golf Club, 7600 Halifax Street, Burnaby (please call 604-421-8355 if you need directions). In lieu of flowers, a donation to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
