Born in Royal Oak, Michigan, Victor was moved as an infant and was raised in Pass Lake and Thunder Bay, Ontario.
He was a Veteran and later on became a Sheet Metal Tradesman and worked in several provinces and territories throughout his career.
Victor was predeceased by his wife Isabelle, and his daughter Viki.
He leaves behind his children; stepson George Wakeham, daughter Jacqueline Clutchey, son Gordon Nielsen, 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and many close family members and friends.
A cremation has taken place and a celebration of Victor's life will be held in the spring of 2023.
