Vera was born in Vancouver on July 3, 1937. She left behind, her husband Bruce of 62 years, a daughter, Debbie, grandson Owen and son Darrell, granddaughter Taylor and grandson Travis.
She was a K-1 teacher for 35 years, the last 28 years at Topham School in 91原创. She was a loving person and always happy. She suffered from dementia since 2008. She passed away at the age of 82 on November 14, 2019 peacefully at Chilliwack Hospital.
In lieu of flowers, donations appreciated to the Dementia Society. Thank you to the caring staff at Net Care, Eden Care Centre and the Chilliwack Hospital.
