Thomas Braaten (FCIP), aged 89 years, passed away at Fort 91原创 Seniors Community on September 21, 2021. Thomas was born in B酶 i Telemark, Norway June 1, 1932 and attended trade school.
After military service in the Norwegian Army, he immigrated to Canada in 1957 where he worked as a mechanic. Later, Thomas became an insurance adjuster and completed his career as a small business owner. Thomas was also a RCMP Auxiliary Constable for 12 years, serving from 1979 to 1991.
Thomas is survived by his wife, Barbara; son, John (Lisanna Lewis) and daughter, Beverly (Brent Schieve);grandson, Cameron; sister, Anne A虋kre; nieces, Aslaug (Bj酶rn Skaraas), and Anette (Morten Rutgveit); nephew, Ole Bernt; great-nieces, Christine, Marthe and Nina; and, great- nephew, Robin.
He is predeceased by his parents, Jens and Aslaug Braaten; brother, Olav; and, brother-in-law Atle A虋kre.
