PRESTON, Stanley ``David'' - born December 5, 1921 in Victoria passed away April 13, 2003 in 91原创.

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 60 years, Eileen ``Midge''; children daughter Judi Paik (Mitch) and son Bob (Lorraine); six loving grandchildren, Greg, Jeff, Leanne, Todd, Tara and Ryan and their spouses; six adored great grandchildren; his brother Charlie and other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his brother Bertie, sister Partricia and brother-in-law Al Mezger.

During WWII Dave was a member of the Fisherman's Reserve and Marine Section of the Air Force. After the war he worked for the Public Works Canada for over 30 years. He enjoyed travelling and saw many sites and continents. Dave also liked bowling, golfing and was a Vancouver Canucks fan. He will be remembered by all who knew him for his warm heart and great wit.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Gubbins, Dr. Whitman and the nurses on the 4th floor at 91原创 Hospital, especially Taneem.

No formal service by his request. If friends desire, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
