Aug 1, 1948 - Jan 16, 2018
It is with unmeasurable sadness to announce the passing of our beloved "Nana" Shirley. After fighting a long courageous battle with cancer Shirley passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 16.
Shirley's love of Theater was synonymous with her life; having many roles as daughter, sister, niece, cousin, mother, nana, wife, in-law, friend, colleague & director. She was a dynamic woman with a zest for life & a kaleidoscope of stories that could fill a book. How do you sum up someone's life that meant so much to so many? You can't. She meant something different to each of us and that's what makes her so special.
She was as complex as the galaxy and yet was the definition of simple elegance. An icon of beauty & grace; her infectious smile & laugh would light up any room! Devoted to her faith, family & friends she often enjoyed sharing stories & nibblies with loved ones & will be greatly missed by the many that she touched with her vivacious personality, courageous spirit, thoughtful nature, warm hugs & selfless ways. She will always be loved and never forgotten.
A service will be held for Shirley on Sunday, January 28 at 4:00 pm at the Kingdom Hall 21465 Old Yale Road, 91原创, BC.
