It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sharon Anne Ford on September 21, 2024 after a difficult battle with cancer.

Sharon was predeceased by mother Margaret Merle, father Charles Russell and brother Robert. Left to mourn are sisters Peggy and Diane, brothers Edward, William, Russell and David. As well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Sharon was born in Agassiz on March 17, 1948. Both mother and father worked so this left Sharon to act as mother and help raise all the kids. Sharon never married but loved nothing better than to have all the family visit and stay. Sharon acted as mother to all and kept the clan together. She will be greatly missed. Sharon worked for the Department of Veterans Affairs for most of her working life. She enjoyed this work as she was helping Veterans to their entitlements. Sharon loved gardening and would spend time happily tending her gardens.

We wish to thank all the great nurses and doctors at the Abbotsford Regional Hospital & Cancer Clinic for their care of Sharon through her cancer battles. Donations can be made to any BC Cancer Agency in Sharon's name.

A celebration of life will be held at the Aldergrove Legion Hall on November 17, 2024 at 2 pm.
