LOCKHART, Roy
Dec. 30, 1920 - April 8, 2008
Roy died after a long battle with Alzheimers. He had a happy life raising a family, building houses and traveling the world, but dementia cruelly robbed him of those memories. Roy spent much of his life outdoors, farming as a youth and later a Fishery Officer in Saskatchewan, logging around BC, and finally growing trees at the Dogwood Nursery.
He asked to have his ashes scattered on his island in the pond at the back of the farm, some sunny day this summer. A jovial Irish wake will be held for him at the Aldergrove OAP Hall on 273 St. This Sunday afternoon, April 13th.
Going to miss you Dad.
