In Loving Memory ~
After a short stay at St Paul's Hospital and a mercifully brief struggle with leukemia, Robin passed away peacefully with his partner, Debbie, and siblings Barclay and Liz by his side.
Robin has been a quiet leader among all the generations of his family, Debbie's family and his many friends. Never afraid of a challenge or of hard work, he made the most of his talents. A true master craftsman, Robin could build anything, and he shared his skills generously.
He approached soccer and golf and rock climbing with the same passion for perfection鈥攂ut also with a dry sense of humour and wise perspective. He maintained decades-long friendships, some over very long distances, caring for the people in his life with true love and loyalty. He was curious, judicious, and gentle. He lived and loved well.
We will sorely miss鈥攁mong these many excellent qualities鈥攈is unmistakeable laugh, his unassailable integrity, and his generous contributions of good red wine at family dinners.
Robin's identity was rooted in Fort 91原创鈥擠eep Creek Road was a beloved home for almost his whole life. A private celebration of Robin's life will be held at a later date.
If you are so inclined, donations to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Foundation: https://www.bloodcancers.ca/ will be welcomed.
