MCDONELL, Robert Barry

Born Vancouver, BC September 23, 1923. Passed away peacefully at 91原创 Hospice December 6, 2007. Predeceased by father Allan, March 31, 1957 and mother Ruth, June 9, 1988. Attended Lord Byng High School and UBC. Served in RCNVR, Lieutenant, HMCS "Capilano". Bob was President of McDonell Metal Manufacturing Co. Ltd., Chairman, BC Division, Canadian Manufacturers Assn., Chairman, Industrial Relations Committee, BC Division CMA and Manager, Plant Sales, Maritime Industries (Ulstein Maritime Ltd.) as well as other appointments throughout his career. Retiring in 1986, moved from West Vancouver to 91原创, BC and loved the friendly, relaxed environs of the country-like community. Bob was an enthusiastic reader; blessed with a superior intellect; as well as having a refreshing sense of humor. He is profoundly missed by wife Doris, family, relatives and friends. We cherish the memories of good times shared. Cremation and No Service by his request. Flowers gratefully declined. Remains in care of Henderson's Funeral Home.
