HOUWELING, Plonia (nee Koole) late of 91原创, B.C. Born May 19, 1924 in Nieuwerkerk a/d Yssel, Holland, entered into eternal glory on February 15, 2003; at home, surrounded by her children.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Cornelus, sister Lena, and brother Sybrand. Remembered with love by her eight children; Alice and Harry Trommel, Surrey; Leonard and Joanne Houweling, ,Bradner; Margaret and Bill Zwiep, Vineland, Ontario; Sylvia and Len Trommel, Surrey; Paul and Elsa Houweling, Aldergrove; Casey and Linda Houweling, Delta; Pauline and Ed Schroeder, Aldergrove; and Grace and Dave Feitsma, Aldergrove; 35 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; brothers Jacob, Jake and Bram; sister Wil; sisters and brothers-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.

We will remember Mom as the center of a busy home, a wonderful example of hospitality and service as she baked, cooked, cleaned and sewed. Her dedication to God and her church shone through everything she did. Towards the end of her life she dealt with her health problems without complaint and her attitude of gratitude to her Heavenly Father and to her family were evident to the end.

Many, many thanks to Dr. Dan MacIntosh, caregiver Babs Stevens, and the Palliative Care Team for their tender loving care. You're the best!
