July 22, 1941 - July 3, 2021
Peter passed away at 91原创 Hospice on July 3, 2021 with his partner Dorothy (Dot) by his side.
He is predeceased by his wife of 46 years, Linda, in 2010. Peter leaves behind his partner and best friend, Dorothy, daughters, Lisa (Greg) and Shelley and four grandchildren, Anthony, Erik, Sarah and Rachael, as well as brothers, sisters and extended family both in Canada and Germany.
Peter was born in 1941, in then East Germany, the 14th of 16 children. In 1961 Peter emigrated to Canada. First in Edmonton AB, then Rossland/Trail BC, Dawson Creek BC, Vancouver and finally 91原创.
Peter had his own construction/renovation company and worked very hard to provide for his family. He also could often be found in his workshop, not working, but talking for hours to whomever decided to visit that day. His workshop was his "home", he didn't need anything else!
His last nine years were spent with Dot and were filled with new friends, travel, fishing, and retirement (at last). He was unforgettable, generous with his time and talents, and we will miss him so very much. He was the 'real McCoy'.
