Peter was born in Surnadal, Norway on April 10, 1945. He passed away peacefully at home with family & loving wife on January 16,2018.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife Carmen, their daughters Janet (Jerry), Karen (Darren), Brenda (Kam) His grandchildren Erik, Tyler, Karstein, Carmen,Claytton, Kristen and Claire. His brothers Karl (Carol), Ivar (Jennifer), Edmund (Helga) as well as many nieces, nephews, friends and relatives.

He is predeceased by his father Aksel, mother Ellen and great niece Brynlee Strand.

鈧琍eter immigrated with his parents and brothers from Norway to Canada in 1956.  They lived and went to school in New Westminster, until at the age of 15 Peter decided he wanted to be a sailor! So off he went on the merchant ships!  He travelled to many countries and saw the world.

Peter worked for many years as a boat builder. He helped to build many of the fishing vessels, tugs and barges that grace our west coast waters. He decided it was time to retire at 69 to pursue the other things that made him happy. His biggest passion was fishing & what lure would catch the biggest fish.

He enjoyed gardening, tending his flowers, watching the birds, a wide variety of music and long walks.Peter loved his best friend and wife Carmen, his daughters, grandchildren, family and their dog Pretty Penny. He will be greatly missed by all that knew & loved him.鈧琀e has gone to be with the Lord.

鈧珹 celebration of life will be held at Henderson's Funeral Home on January 25, 2018 at 11 am. Burial to follow at 2:30 pm at Murrayville Cemetery.
