In Loving Memory ~

We are saddened to announce the passing of Walli (Myrtle) on Dec 3rd at age 101.

She is predeceased by her husband Eric and survived by her children Lynn (Don), Gail (Nick) and Barry (Lorrie); 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 3 brothers; Errol, Ron and Richard.

Born in Ottawa, Walli was the 4th daughter of George and Irene Wallingford, followed by 5 brothers. Walli and her sister Dorothy enlisted in the Air Force in 1942. Finishing at the top of her wireless class of 30, she was kept on as a wireless instructor.

While in the Air Force she met her husband Eric and after the war moved out west to his hometown of 91原创 where they raised their family and made a living commercial fishing on the Gailyn B. Walli also gill netted her own boat, the Little Fraser.

During this time Walli also completed her Master of Social Work at UBC and worked for several years in child protection.
