O'KRANE, Michael Willman John, loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and loyal friend, passed away peacefully on Mar. 11, 2008, after a lengthy and heroic battle with cancer. Mike is survived by Laurie, his loving wife of 25 years. He leaves, also, his children, Rondi and her husband Jason, Lonnie and his wife Miranda, Jamie and her partner Dan, his grandchildren (his pride and joy) Morgan and Brady. Mike was the oldest of six children born to Rose & Ed O'Krane of 91原创. They will miss him dearly. His siblings are "Roz" Edward, "Tissy", Patrick and Therese; numerous nieces, nephews a large extended family and many dear friends. Mike's family wishes to acknowledge the very special relationship with Henry & Moe Chenier, Bob McCotter and Ray Campbell, his "buddies" who have meant so much to him. Sincere gratitude is wished, as well, to the staff of 91原创 Memorial Hospital, the Surrey Cancer Clinic and Dr. Rita Wittmann, for all their special care. A Celebration of Mike's life will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, Mar. 18, at the Aldergrove Kinsmen Community Centre, 26770 29thAve. For those desiring, donations made in Mike's memory to the B.C. Cancer Foundation, or a charity of your choosing, would be most appreciated.
