MARY LOUISE HERSCHMILLER

October 24, 2006

HERSCHMILLER, MARY LOUISE

(nee Carmichael)

Born February 17, 1955 - Died October 24, 2006. Mary went to be with her Lord Jesus, leaving behind her beloved husband Cary, her cherished children, Tanya, Nathan and Jessan, her dear parents Rev. Archie (Ret.) and Cathie Carmichael, her loving siblings, Doug (Barb & Family), David (Angie & Family) & Maureen. Mother-in-law, Peggy Herschmiller (Walter), Cary's siblings, Don (Ingrid & Family), John (Jan & Family) & Sandy (Andy & Family). She also leaves behind her Aunts Mary, Jessie (Bill), cousins and many friends.

Mary had many passions in life: her family, friends, church, gardening and swimming to name a few. Taking a dip in a lake or pool was a delight for Mary, resulting in some hilarious

stories about those excursions.

Mary was a strong single mother who enjoyed her growing family and they in turn adored her. Mary met Cary at B.C.I.T. while they were taking the Bio-Medical Technology course from which they both graduated in May 1992. It was notable that Mary was a sole female to graduate in her class. Cary joined Mary and her children in love and marriage in 1993. Over the next twelve years, Mary became a valuable member of the Bio-Med Teams at Surrey Memorial and 91原创 Memorial Hospitals.

Mary was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in the spring of 2004. She fought valiantly to the end, staying in her home surrounded by her family and friends in a circle of love.

A celebration of Mary's life will be held at Christian Life Assembly in 91原创, (21277 56th Avenue), on Saturday, October 28th. Viewing will start at 12:30 pm with the service at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to be made to the B.C. and Yukon Chapter of the Breast Cancer Foundation would be appreciated
