Aug. 29, 1922 - March 10, 2006.

Our family is sad to announce that Mom passed away peacefully at 91原创 Memorial Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.

Predeceased by two husbands,

Ferdinando and Angelino and a son Ferdinando, Maria is survived by her children Fernanda (Moe), Louie

(Betty), Natalie (Ray), grandchildren Michael, Kaitlin, Tiffany, and Joanna. Mom spent countless hours volunteering for the 91原创 Hospital Auxiliary, 91原创 Penny Pinchers and serving tea and cake at the Extended Care Unit. Our heartfelt thanks to the staff of 4 South at LMH, Mom called you her angels and you truly were. Our thanks also to Dr. Ng and Dr. Wittman. A Celebration of Life will be held at the 91原创 Legion, 20702 Eastleigh Crescent (entrance off 56th Ave.), on Friday, March 17th, 1-4 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the 91原创 Penny Pinchers, 91原创 Hospital Auxiliary or the Canadian Cancer Society. Mom, you are so greatly missed & will never be Forgotten. You are & will be our joy forever. Thank you for all that you have taught us, your love and devotion, kindness and caring and for bringing us together as a family.
