HARPER, Malcolm James "Mal" Harper passed away peacefully with grace in the Vernon & District Hospice House with his loving family at his side on Saturday, July 26th, 2003 at the age of 81 years. Mal is survived by his loving family, wife Mae of Blind Bay, B.C., two daughters and son-in-law, Vivian (Bob) Madrigal of Aldergrove, B.C., Gayla (Ed) Howard of Vernon, two sons and daughter-in-law, Daryl (Nancy) Shatzko of 91原创, B.C., eleven grandchildren, five great grandchildren, five brothers Wilfred, Leslie, George Harper of Vernon, one sister Stella-Beth Thurston of Okanagan Falls, B.C., and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Mal was predeceased by his parents Ida and James Harper, and his granddaughter Lisa Howard. A Celebration Of Life Service will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2003 at 3:00 p.m. from the Pleasant Valley Funeral Home with Pastor Sean Wong officiating. Cremation. A reception will be held in the Pleasant Valley Tea Room.
