Ken passed away after a short battle with cancer at the age of 72.
He is survived by his wife Sandy, daughters Brooke (Kurt) and Ashlee, grandchildren Olivia and Benjamin, and brothers Jim (Charlene) and Rick (Karen) and their families.
Ken was predeceased by his parents, Edward (Ivor) and Catherine (Kay), and Aunt Nita.
Ken trained as a machinist and worked more than 25 years in that field before joining his brother Jim at the Old Car Centre in 91原创. He restored the electrical in vintage cars and was a passionate 鈧揅hevy owner.
Ken was involved in 91原创 Fastball Association and Aldergrove Women'鈧劉s League, sitting on the executive, coaching his daughters and as proud coach of the Shooters. He cared deeply for the young women he coached, the coaches and softball community.
Ken enjoyed camping with close friends and made many friends at their home park in Moses Lake, Washington. Other travels included cruises to the Caribbean and Alaska and land-based trips to Europe, his favourite being trips to France to see Vimy Ridge and Normandy.
Ken had a quirky sense of humour, a love for his yard, Willie Nelson and time spent on his tractor. Nothing could get between him, football season and a cold Molson Canadian.
Ken'鈧劉s family thanks everyone for their support during his illness. 鈧
Kenny'鈧劉s Pub Night 鈧漺as held at Redwoods Golf Course to remember Ken with his close circle of friends and family.
