Ken passed away very peacefully at 91原创 Hospice on August 9th at the age of 83 after suffering for many years with cancer.
He was born in Innisfail, Alberta and moved to BC at the age of 15 where he worked for over 45 years as a pasteurizer and ice cream maker at Seal Kap, Hillside, Palm and Dairyland. He was a volunteer fireman at Zone 6 91原创 for 21 years and served as Chief for 10 of those years. He also played cribbage with the Milner Crib Club and served as captain for many years.
He is predeceased by daughter-in-law Janet, three sisters and one brother. He is survived by his loving wife, Lenore of 61 years, daughter Cheryl (Frank), son Greg, many nieces, nephews and friends.
His Celebration of Life will be held at Sunrise Banquet Centre, 5640 188th Street, Surrey BC on September 8 at 2:00 pm.
