It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ethel, she passed peacefully on Tuesday morning at 100 years old. Ethel was born in Mission and moved to Vancouver when she got married and raised her family there. Ethel worked at Woodward's for years and loved it. The world has lost a loving, strong and fierce lady and the matriarch of the Keay clan. Predeceased by her oldest son Charles, step son Roy, granddaughter Heather, and husband's Sidney Keay (1958), Burt Matthews and David Paterson. Ethel is survived by her loving sons; Jim (Lynn), Dan and daughter-in-law Jane. Grandchildren; Sid, Mike, Jim Jr., Shane, Dan, Tammy, Tracy, Jamie, Tasha and Charlie. 25 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren , and numerous nieces and nephews.
