HAMELIN, Jean Louis (Charlie)

Born September 11, 1937

in Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec.

Charlie went peacefully into the arms of his Dear Jesus whom he served faithfully for 27 years on February 19, 2008.

His wife Charlene, son Keith and daughter Karen were at his side.

He is survived by his loving wife Charlene, son Keith (Carolyn), daughter Karen (Scott), two grandchildren, five great grandchildren, sisters Madeline, Paulette (Ed), Rita (Jerry), Marie Claire, Pierrette, brothers Jean Paul, Michael (Linda), numerous nieces, nephews, many cousins and loads of great friends.

Charlie lived in Ontario most of his life. In March 1981 Charlie and Charlene came to B.C., they both fell in love with it and decided to make it their home. They lived on Wakefield Drive in the greatest neighbourhood in the world. Charlie worked at Ryvers Woodworks in Richmond B.C. for 15 years until Jack sold the business. From there he came back to 91原创 where he worked at Elite Kitchens and Bath. He also did side jobs on his own. He loved his work, it was a God given talent and he always tried to go that extra mile to please his customers. This was the last place Charlie worked; from there he went into the hospital. He truly loved what he did.

I would like to thank Dr. C. Shete and Dr. Peter Methven for all their endeavours to save Charlie's life. Charlie loved these men and was so grateful. Also I would like to thank the nurses on Two North who gave so much of themselves, they are truly Angels of Mercy.

Many thanks to Audrey who spent countless hours with me, and to Bobby & Janice and Mathew & Mariam who stayed right with me in my darkest hours and to so many others for their kind words, love and support.

Most of all I thank our Blessed Jesus who walked with him home. PTL.
